I didn't go rock climbing. It was incredibly hot, and I didn't really feel like it.
I helped my mom move on Wednesday and Thursday. It was a fucking nightmare. I don't want to talk about it. My mom was having a breakdown, so I left my brother there to help her cope. As the only person in my family with an actual job, I felt it was important for me to get back to Boston so as to keep that job. I was supposed to drive back up to Vermont tomorrow to pick my brother up, but I really, really don't want to, especially since traffic will be terrible. So I talked to my mom, and she's probably going to buy him a train ticket to NYC for sometime next week. Next Saturday he's going to start working on a sheep farm somewhere in the Catskills, so he won't have to pay rent anymore.
In other news, I bought some Schnapps called Poison, mainly becuase of the name. It's actually not all that bad.
I'm still looking into flight lessons. I'd make a reservation for an intro flight, but I don't know when I'm going back up to VT. Probably next weekend, so I don't know when I'll actually fly....
I was thinking of trying to make it to the Boston Pops concert on the 4th, but I really hate crowds, and I prefer to be far away from the fireworks when they're set off. I'll have to see. Maybe I'll just go to the Cambridge side of the river and watch from there, and skip the concert.
