OK, so on Thursday I went to the big city and met Rhoswen, and we went to see Hostage with a friend of mine, and walked around Church St. a bit, and went to the tattoo parlor. It was a good day.
On Monday I'm going to BOSTON! Getting there is going to be slightly complicated, because I'm going to leave my car in Salem and take the commuter train in, and the guy I'm staying with isn't going to be there until after 5pm because he's flying in from Pittsburgh. Plus I'm supposed to look at an apartment at 7pm, so that complicates things slightly.
Right now the best place sounds like this Victorian house in Roslindale, which appears to be about 25 minutes from downtown. There's only one person living there right now, the room is furnished, it's relatively cheap, and parking isn't a problem. There's no internet, though, and that's my primary job hunting resource. I only have three places lined up so far, though, and this one sounds like the best. Most of the people I've contacted don't get back to me.... bastards. I just hope that the woman in the Victorian doesn't turn out to be a kook, because it really sounds like my best option right now.
