Ann Arbor was awesome. I think I'm going to move there. It isn't all that flat - little hills, lots of trees, don't even notice there aren't any mountains. Ann Arbor is just like Burlington, VT, but bigger. And more ethnically diverse. Had some fantastic Indian food.
Flight there was great, flight back was ok. Tiny plane, small children, no leg room, bag wouldn't fit in overhead compartment, had to cram it under the seat, but the guy sitting next to me was looking some magazine with mostly naked women in it, so I sneaked some peeks at that and listened to Nina Simone. And looked out the window. I saw the sun on that flight, which was nice considering it was really cloudy the entire time I was in Michigan. And rainy, windy and cold. Today was the nicest day, of course, since I left today. I guess it's a good sign that I liked the city even though the weather was crappy.
The employment agency called today, before I got back. The maple syrup people want to hire me. I'll call tomorrow morning to find out what's up. I could really use the money, if I'm going to move.
I'm glad I get to sleep in my own bed tonight.
