My birthday today. Yesterday sucked. The only thing I was looking forward to (having lunch with my mom) got canceled because it's fucking freezing here. Things got better when I found out that one of the girls I live with baked a cake for me. It had Foamy the squirrel on it. Made me happy. And I got a new knife. Today - more presents. None of which I was expecting. AND I'm getting taken out to dinner, and to see Bubba Ho-Tep. Just talked to my mom, and we're going to get lunch despite the eyeball-freezing cold. Overall, pretty good day. It isn't the presents that put me in a good mood. It's that people remembered my birthday. And it is nice to get stuff. Getting absolutely nothing on my birthday is a little depressing. My mom isn't big on buying things that I don't need. Which is good, because then I don't have a lot of clutter, but also makes me a little sad. Stupid, huh?
