So, I went to Arisia (a sci-fi con, for those not in the know) this weekend, and had a TOTAL BLAST! It was so much fun! I'm still in happy mode.

Here are some highlights:

I wore a TOTALLY awesome dress - ankle length, black, form fitting, buttons up the front (the buttons are important - I'll explain why in a bit). I ROCK that dress. I had my picture taken by several random guys. Some of them wanted their picture taken with me, as well....

On Friday I went to Rocky Horror - they had actors on stage, next to the projection screen. My friend was invited up on stage to play the part of a microphone. I have pictures to prove it.

On Saturday I went to the Khazadum (excuse me if I misspelled that, I've never really watched that much Babylon 5) party, where they had rocket fuel - water, dry ice, grain alcohol and limeade concentrate. It's fantastic stuff. I also went to a party hosted by the Church of Skank. I was not quite skanky enough to get in, so a guy I know from VT very kindly undid some of the buttons on my dress so I could get in.... I didn't stay very long because the room (a regular hotel room) was packed with people and very hot and steamy.

I danced! Really, I did! There might even be some people who weren't too drunk at the time to remember. I think the reason I don't like dancing in other places is because of comfort - I was so comfortable at Arisia, it felt like I was surrounded by people who weren't judgin me at all, unlike when I go to regular clubs. I always feel like I don't fit in, so people are looking at me, and it makes me really self-conscious.

Anyway. MY WEEKEND WAS BETTER THAN YOURS. So there.

p.s. I'm probably going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras!
