I've applied for two more jobs today, and sent off a couple of e-mails to analytical testing companies. If they don't want to pay me, I'm thinking of getting a crappy part-time job and convincing a testing comp. to hire me as an un-paid intern. At least I'd be learning something interesting and useful. Working at Home Depot is not interesting or useful. Ok, maybe...

yuk working in home depot... i'd never pass the drug tests... the one in Chicago let's you run over people two or three times before they fire you, that's what I hear.
I just checked the hospital website. I'm not being considered for two of the jobs. I applied for a couple more. What the fuck am I going to do? There aren't any jobs in the newspaper, besides a bunch of shit I'm not qualified for and some waitstaff positions. I did not drive all this way so I could work in a fucking restaurant. I...

OK, I've applied to three jobs so far. All at the hospital. Two in the blood lab, one in the pharmacy. I know I'd be good at all of them, but the stupid hospital site has this "skills and expertise" section that I'm supposed to fill out. It's all about what kind of certifications I have, and if I have a NC driver's license. I'm...

I've been watching WAY too much tv. And we don't even get the sci-fi channel. Just basic cable. Nothing's on, but I watch anyway. It comes from being tv-deprived for months....

I'm here! Got into town yesterday afternoon. I made better time than I thought I would, but I would never speed.
I stopped in a sketchy little motel in Hazleton, PA. The room had a king-size bed with sheets that were too small, and a little kitchenette. The kitchenette was good, because the bathroom sink only had one temperature - steaming hot. So I brushed...

I'm leaving on Wednesay. Finally, everything appears to be planned and in order. All I have to worry about now is figuring out what I'm going to take with me, how I'm going to fit it in my car, and trying to make it to Scranton on Wednesday. But I have to make it to Scranton, so failure is not an option. I will NOT...

Slight have a good drive down to Asheville. I heard Scranton is the town that they are setting the US version of The Office in. Slough is much much funnier.
You didn't miss much in Dark Angel. Watch "The Prisoner" or "Kids In The Hall" if you want to watch TV on DVD as they call it now, the kids they do.
get back to SG when you are reset.

You leave tomorrow?! congrats! i bet that will be nice, let me know how wonderful and warm it is, hehe...have a safe trip
ok, no new news on the moving, but I'm going to stop focusing so much on fleeing. there is nothing wrong with being here, I'm just bored. And when I'm bored, I complain. Actually, I complain even when I'm not bored. But that's neither here nor there.
I'm feeling slightly less bored today because I made something for a friend (being creative usually makes me...

i am not leaving on the 28th. i might be leaving on the 29th. i might be stuck in this shitty little town for the rest of my natural life. the euphoria has worn off, in case you couldn't tell. why does this have to be so fucking complicated? why can't i just get in my car and get the hell out of dodge? i...

She'll be fine but leaving town always means leaving somebody behind... it's not always meant to be easy to leave... sheeeiiiiit i'm still at home with my folks but i live in a house and hood i want to die old in. and not to make you feel bad slight, but i couldn't leave my dog nor take her from this house. i'm fucking bound but that's just where i am right now.
anyways, you'll get out if you really want to. just don't rent those movies where people are trying to leave town but circumstances keep them around tyinkg up loose ends and such until it gets frantic and they get killed before they can leave town and start a new life. Wild Bunch is kinda like that. Nic Cage and Lara Flynn Boyle in Red Rocks West is i think like that, it's been a while since I saw it. come to think of it, it's kinda my favorite dramatic theme. think i'll write a few. I also love the tyrant buffoon like Mr. Burns and Black Adder
i don't usually say this because it is such shite advice to get, but stay positive, or at least distracted with positive things. asinine i know, but i'm six feet away from homeless sometimes and I try not to feel it too much

YES! THE 28TH! I AM GETTING MY ASS OUT OF VERMONT ON THE 28TH! Finally, I have a departure date. I'm going to drive, by myself, to Asheville. With many stops on the way. Probably a motel somewhere in Pennsylvania, then my grandmother's in D.C., then Blacksburg, VA where I used to live, then Asheville! Of course, things could change drastically, but there is absolutely...

I hate dead saviour day. I hate christmas music. I hate the fact that I can't go into a fucking store without hearing christmas music, and without overhearing people talking about how "far behind" they are in their christmas shopping. I need really good earplugs. I want ones that look like what Audrey Hepburn wore in Breakfast At Tiffany's. But I don't want them for...
