Today has a special meaning to me in more than one way. First of all, it is the ten year anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001. We remember all the lives that were lost and all the soldiers life's that have been lost since that day. The other event that happened today has had a very big impact on the rest of my life. Thirteen years ago I was diagnosed with cancer. It is hard to believe that it has been that long ago. At the time, I didn't think that I was going to see my twenty third birthday. A lot has changed in my life since that day. I am now trying to live my life to the fullest because I know how fast it can all change.
It is fitting that I am getting more tattoo work done today. I got my first tattoo as a reminder of my survival of cancer.

That's very intense. I've had to watch a lot of loved ones battle with cancer. Glad to know you are healthy and use it as motivation to live life with such passion.
