Slothy’s ‘Non Chili’ Chili Dogs

Slothy's Mild Habanero ‘Not Chili’ Chili

Ingredients:

1 can peeled whole tomatoes

1 can pureed tomatoes

1 can black beans

2 habanero peppers

Pink Himalayan salt

Ground coriander

Ground cumin

Garlic powder

Onion powder

Oregano

3 cups diced black forest ham

Toasted sesame oil

Step 1:

Remove lids from cans and combine tomatoes and black beans into a large pot.

Step 2:

Cook on low heat, over the stove, while adding salt, coriander, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano.

Step 3:

Add minced, deseeded habanero peppers into pot and stir well.

Step 4:

Stir and mix the pot every 30mins to every hour for six hours at least on simmer after cooking on low heat for 20mins.

Step 5:

In a separate pan, add diced ham with sesame oil and cook lightly and evenly over the stove and add to the pot and stir in.

Hot Dogs

Ingredients:

Quality all beef hot dogs

Pretzel hot dog buns

1 chopped yellow onion

1 chopped white onion

2 avocados

Bacon

2 Jalapeños

1 block of sharp white cheddar cheese

3 cups jasmine white rice


Step 1:

Prepare rice in a rice cooker and bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil after preheating the oven to 375 degrees F for the bacon.

Step 2:

Add hot dogs into the boiling water and combine white and yellow onions and place in a medium sized bowl and cook the bacon in the oven, flipping once when cooked halfway through.

Step 3:

Thinly slice enough cheddar cheese to cover the inside of each hot dog bun and toast, facing up, in a convection oven at 350 degrees (F) after removing bacon and placing on paper towels to dry grease. Slice avocados into strips and jalapeños into semicircles.

Step 3:

Remove toasted buns once cheese has melted and hot dogs once enough grease has accumulated in the pot. Slice hot dogs in half, vertically, and place open inside the bun.

Step 4:

Create a large, circular bed of white rice on each plate. Center the hot dog buns onto this bed of white rice with the hot dogs sliced open and inside the buns.

Step 5:

Add avocado, onions, jalapeño, and bacon evenly on top of the hot dogs.

Step 6:

Add chili on top of the hot dogs, over the loaded dogs.

Step 7:

Grate cheddar cheese on top of the hot dogs.
