telling someone "Just wanted you to know, I didn't do it for the money" when you're literally worth millions of dollars is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
I've been totally broke my whole life and have never played music 'for the money'...I suffer shitty travel and bad accommodations for the money on occasion but 'knock on wood' pretty much never touch my fingers to a musical instrument just for the pay check.
