Some thoughts for an unknown soldier
does he know what he's fighting for?
Losing his friends to no enemy
he promised his mom he will come back home

All the people, look to heaven
for a prince to come and save them
or could it be, there's no one there
either way we'll have to face ourselves

An innocent child now a memory
she couldn't see a life worth living for
measured her worth against images on a TV screen
no one could convince her what she longed for wasn't real

this is the life we chose, can't you see that every one of us is guilty
