Since I have 4 video game consoles that I play (and buy games for) regularly, I decided that I would buy a new game only after I finished the game I'd be currently playing. It's a good idea, I guess, since I spend less money and also enjoy every game more... not only because I "have" to play it, but because I don't worry about buying some other game at launch day.
But this time it's different. I want to buy "A Link Between Worlds" for the 3DS, and I could, since I've finished every game I've purchased recently... still, I didn't buy it yet. Why? Because I'm playing "A Link to the Past". It's on an emulator (I don't own a SNES), so doesn't count on my logic, still I decided to play it in whole before buying ALBW. I had to know ALTTP's story before, since both games are related.
I'm 28 years old and played ALTTP as a child, but I didn't know English at the time, plus I played it at the local game store, so there was NO WAY I could follow the story. But man, the story is great! I am enjoying A Link to the Past as much as I would've if I had the chance to really play it when I was younger! I just can't wait to play A Link Between Worlds.
Playing every game, one at a time, is probably the best decision I've made recently related to gaming.
