It's been months since my last blog post and, although I kindda promise myself to post regularly, I somehow end up ignoring the promise... anyway, a lot happened in the past three months and there are a few things I want to share... but not today, today I gotta tell you about an amazing experience!
I just got back from what may be one of the best rock concerts I've ever been in my entire life! Crashdet played here in So Paulo, Brazil, a few hours ago, and I was there to appreciate it. I left my home under heavy rain, the block where the venue is was waterlogged, but I managed to get there in one piece.
I had a couple of beers and headed to the front... I almost made it to the safety railingm there were only 2 persons in front of me, and I was about 3 or 4 meters from the band! The show was amazing, loud and Crashdet was on fire!
During the song Generation Wild, Simon stage dove in the middle of the crowd, right in front of me! We were face to face, and I grabbed his neck and sung with him on the mic! In the end of the show, Eric told us that he loves Brazil and even said a few words in Portuguese. After the show, the security guys were pushing the crowd away from the venue, and I looked back and Peter was there, behind the guards... I managed to get close to him, and thanked him for the show and we shook hands!
On my way back home, there was more rain, I got home all soggy, very cold and starving... I already took a hot shower, had a cup of hot chocolate milk and now I'm going to bed, because I am exausted and, you know, everybody needs a break!
