I never tought about jailbreaking my iPod Touch... I'm kind of an Apple fanboy and tought it wouldn't be nice to do illegal stuff to my iPod. It felt like cheating on my favourite brand!
Anyway... I jailbroke my iPod Touch a couple of days ago (I have it for more than 2 years) and I'm much more satisfied now that I can have te app I want. The thing is: I have bought many apps in the App Store (I have both SG apps and paid for them) but the reason I decided to jailbreak the gadget is that the brazilian App Store has VERY few apps available for purchase! And that sucks!
No Angry Birds, no Rock Band, no Fruit Ninja, no Sushi Cat!
I don't know how all the legal stuff for the availability of the apps in all the App Stores around the world work, but I believe that, if Apple already approved the app for the US Store, it should be available for purchase in all the Stores, right? Well, that's just not how it works.
To summarize, even tough I'm against the jailbreak, I don't regret doing it to my iPod Touch because (and only because) the law and Apple make things difficult when they don't make apps available in the brazilian Store. So, I'm happy I finally did it.
