I died my hair pink a couple of weeks ago :]

Im a dickhead.

Its not as pink as id have liked, because i ran out of bleaching powder so i couldnt get it as blonde as i needed it to begin with.
also, as you can see ive got -two tonal hair due to dodgy bleaching- syndrome...
im gonna lighten it again soon, and hopefully itl be brighter, and more even, and just generally better.
I used special effects atomic pink, and ive also got blue haired freak and wildflower i might try aswell at some point.
Ive also bought some human extensions which im gonna dye aswell soon, but il just use directions+stargazer for them cause i wont be washing them as much so i dont need stuff as strong as special effects.

i bet your hair looks amazing now - i wish i could get away with funky hair like that still
so, i spent all summer doing my research internship looking at issues to do with risk and consent in blood transfusion in relation to those dependent on regular transfusion (eg haemophiliacs) and then looked at the use of promisory lamguage in newspaper articles about cord blood banking. It was all REALLY interesting, and i've picked up so many really good skills that i'll be able to use for future research so thats all good. The boys glad i finished it though coz ive spent all summer talking to him about blood!
started my MA a couple of weeks ago, already the workloads massive and im struggling to get my head round it all, but im sure it'll be ok. The toughest thing is being the youngest - im the only one whos gone straight from undergrad to postgrad, everyone else is like 10 years older and have loads of experience working with science and technology and they can all say loads of really clever sounding stuff in the seminars and im sat there with my basic sociology degree that doesnt contribute a whole lot to science and technology studies feeling really stupid!! AAAARGH. I hope it starts to balance out a bit more as we go, and im pretty sure ill have an advantage when it comes to essay writing coz none on them have written essays in forever and thats all ive done for the last 5years!!
what've you been doing since you got back from your adventures, apart from acquiring FIT hair!?
xxxxxxx
