i go into this restuarant today and see a sign "metal fest 04" so i read it and find out that next friday here in little old walla walla mushroomhead and orgy are playing with 8 other bands. then i remember that on that same day my son graduates to a higher belt in karate. FUCK mad nothing ever happens in this fucked up town and finally a show i want to go to comes and i cant go. well i could go but i will not do that to my son. but wait the show starts at noon, 10 bands. the gradaution is at 600 pm i could go to the show till then leave go to my kids grad. then go back to the show biggrin its just crazy enough that it might work hahahahahah

That sounds cool.. but I've seen Dope a couple of times, and one of the bands I'm in has opened for them.. and it depresses me to say this but: they play to their own CD! The music you hear isn't really live music anymore. It's their CD, and then they play/sing over it so they can bounce around and stuff without missing a beat. Personally, I hate that crap. The reason I go to see a live band it because I want the reality of the music. Recently we went on tour with Bile (one of my favorite bands ever!) and they did that too. I was so heartbroken that I couldn't even get into the show. Lots of bands are doing that now, and it just kinda leaves me feeling ripped off. I mean, we have a GREAT live show, and we play all the music live.. no backing tracks. What has this world come to? I guess sometimes technology can be a bitch. But, regardless, I hope you have a great time, and enjoy the show. I'm sure not all the bands playing will do that. Oh, and congrats on the belt to your son!
