That sounds cool.. but I've seen Dope a couple of times, and one of the bands I'm in has opened for them.. and it depresses me to say this but: they play to their own CD! The music you hear isn't really live music anymore. It's their CD, and then they play/sing over it so they can bounce around and stuff without missing a beat. Personally, I hate that crap. The reason I go to see a live band it because I want the reality of the music. Recently we went on tour with Bile (one of my favorite bands ever!) and they did that too. I was so heartbroken that I couldn't even get into the show. Lots of bands are doing that now, and it just kinda leaves me feeling ripped off. I mean, we have a GREAT live show, and we play all the music live.. no backing tracks. What has this world come to? I guess sometimes technology can be a bitch. But, regardless, I hope you have a great time, and enjoy the show. I'm sure not all the bands playing will do that. Oh, and congrats on the belt to your son!
