I had a friend in junior high who talked in her sleep, too. She was a real hit at slumber parties; you could even suggest events and listen to her dreams play out accordingly. One time we had her dreaming about being stranded in the desert, and when we woke her up later she ran to the kitchen and drank like 2L of water... Ok, that was a tame example.... the one where we had her dream about seducing our science teacher was more fun; she totally freaked out, it was so mean...

That rocks that you're going to Costa Rica! I know what you mean about relying on travel to help you sort stuff out; my theory is that travel can help you find yourself b/c it highlights all the stuff that CAN'T be changed just by changing location.
