I just got back from yet another wedding - that's 5 in 5 months - crazy. Good food, good alcohol, nice people.
It's always a little strange to have a few awkward conversations with people I haven't seen in a while. On one hand it's good to see how everyone has grown and moved on - if in fact they have. On the other hand it's weird (and sometimes healthy) to see how far you've all grown apart. I guess that's just part of moving forward in life.

for the wedding i'm planning, we were talking about leaving out alcohol altogether, and then we realized there'd be no point in having a band because no one would dance. besides, it's always fun to see the parents and the family friends getting a little too goosed up.
