We had a fire call during lunch today. Another fully involved (engulfed). Old lady that lived there kept her dog in a cage. Dog burnt up. I didn't get to see that part though cuz my department head wouldn't stop calling me and bitching at me for being at that call. See, recently him and my dad (fire chief) had a talk and it was decided that I can only go onto structure fires and wreaks despite my employee handbook stating that I should answer all calls. Well, this was a structure fire yet the fucker still kept pissing me off. I did enjoy pulling the brick walls down and pissing off that old lady. She didn't like it too much. Didn't really care.

My new meter reader started today. I had to pick him up (main reason I was force to leave the scene) and show him the ropes. I was too pissed off to read any meters. A matter of fact, I didn't read shit all day long.

Instead I bought a bottle of coke out the coke machine and put it in my coffee thermas. Added ice. Then headed to the house and added my best friend...Jack Daniels. That's right folks, I got drunk at work. Felt good for abit then that lunchtime incident happened and I got a headache all over again.

Fuck the government.
