Today is my last day of work for the season! The pope being in Philly actually wasn't too terrible, I somehow was able to get around it without being in the middle of it all. I'm really excited to be able to focus all my attention on my art, and possibly on my modeling again (and of course twitch as well.) I'm currently reminiscing on the past year and how much progress I've made, physically and mentally, and how much I have improved for the better. I've come a really long way, and this weeks sg homework is "who is your hero?" And I go down the usual list of people: my grandmother, my boyfriend, my boyfriend's family for taking me in, Van Gogh, Kurt Cobain... etc. etc. but honestly, these people mean a lot to me, but if I really think about it.. my biggest hero is me. I'm the only one that is able to save me, from myself, from my depression, from my horrible home life as a child. If it wasn't for me being as strong as I am I wouldn't be here right now. So even though I sound incredibly narcissistic, I have to admit that I am really dang proud of myself for making it this far and not letting anything hold me back. I've always had people telling me I can't do art for a living, or I could never be a suicide girl, and I even still get that now. It takes a lot out of me to shut those voices out and prove them all wrong, but it's totally worth it. I feel like everyone needs some self love, cause at the end of the day, you're all you got. So fuck yeah for being proud of the progress you have made! You are a wonderful human who deserves to feel good about all that you have done in your life, because look how far you've gotten so far! Life is full of struggles but living is the biggest gift. I truly feel like we should all be our own heros!

My first set of the day "Come as you are" has over 3200+ hearts!!! That's so crazy to me, even after it was SOTD back in April it's still has been getting such positive feedback from the site!
I also have two other sets currently sitting in member review that could use some lovin if you haven't already!
"Unknown Pleasures" currently has 2200+ hearts
and "Strawberry Swisher" has 1936 as of right now!
and only 2 months and 2 weeks til my set "Twilight Princess" is out!!!
I'm super excited for all the future sets I have to submit!! There's about 4 that I already shot that are waiting to be edited and I have a bunch planned for the future. Lots of Skyhook coming your way in the next year!! :~)
