Hello SG Babes!

For this week’s visual blog homework I thought I would share my fish tanks! I have six freshwater tanks currently & am working on building a breeding room to start a small business. 🫧🐠

This is my biggest tank! 45 tall for 4 Discus, a bunch of rummynose tetras, pleco and rainbow shark! I have plans on moving the Discus to a 75 in the future as they will get massive!

First shrimp breeding project! There’s so many tiny babies in here 🥹

My newest betta fish! I named this lil guy Udon, he’s super interactive with me and always swims up to greet me. 🥹

I really love incorporating live plants in all of my aquariums. 🌱 It’s so nice having slices of nature in my home. 🏡

Peep the proud parents of this lil guy! ✨ There’s definitely a couple more babies in there but they’re so tiny they’re hard to pick up on camera ☺️

@marcog71 I have lost two since keeping them but It was at the beginning and I wasn’t feeding 3 times a day. First one at the beginning and second when I was away on vacation and someone else was feeding. Discus love warm water which raises their metabolism so if you aren’t feeding enough they will be aggressive towards one another and starve the smallest of the group. Otherwise they aren’t aggressive and do well with the rummynose tetras and other bottom feeder tank mates I have in there. I do have a lot of live plants, do water changes twice a week but they’re so worth it. Highly recommend just make sure to do your research!
