after almost 5 1/2 years i'm finally becoming accustomed to the climatology of this place... it's a damp 65 outside this morning and i just took out the trash in my boxers, tank top, and bare feet without so much as a chill or even goosebumps 
it's always nice to have someone you know well to turn to when you feel like everything is going down the toilet, even if it is your (psychotic control-freak) mother. i told my mom how i've been feeling lately and alot of what motivates me to "hurt myself"... that's how she sees my piercings and plans for tattos, as a form of hurting myself. she didn't freak out like i though she would when i said the seven letter "d" word, but all she said was that i needed to do what i thought was best for me and my boy and also keep in mind my money situation. not much help as far as advice is concerned but then again i didn't ask her for advice... i just wanted someone to vent to and a shoulder to cry on, and while the problem isn't solved i do feel a little better... although i still want to hurt myself with needles!

Ya i'll pretty much was thinking that too about my ink, hopefully i get paid soon (checks are late since were waiting for some clients to pay us) so i can get it done, but we'll see when it happens.
We don't have a basement, though
I'd normally say don't worry about reapplying, except it's been sooooo long, you'll almost definitely need to fill out new paperwork. Still you can wait till you have a shoot "in the can" before you apply again.
Definitely post your ink ideas and app pics -- I'd LOVE to see them!
