this year's travel ideas and dates UPDATED!! and other happier things...
may is out. he won't go with me and he won't let me go alone or with someone else
is there one closer? say... stl or kc?
july is screwed! he says (and i quote) "you're not spending my vacation time to go without me" well if i go without you then you don't need to take the time off work! he insists we borrow one of his parents' cars and drive out there, thus tripling the travel time and shortening the actual visiting time (and the money i would have spent on a rental car goes to gas and hotels). if he comes along we can't stay at my friend's house like i did last summer, because he smokes and they aren't cool with smoke in the house, so more money to the hotels. he knows none of my friends and honestly isn't interested in the things i want to do while i am there, so i would have to hear constant bitching about being bored. and of course if he comes along, no trip to la and no shoot with missy. ARGH!!! whatever, i am NOT missing my best friend's wedding. i was there for her high school graduation last summer even being 5 months pregnant in the 110 degree heat, and damn it i am going to be there for this!
i still may be able to swing september, IF i can somehow make the july trip by myself (with kid of course!)... because unlike the uncommonness of my friends, he does have something in common with my clanmates... GAMES! and he can't resist the chance to get drunk with a bunch of fellow gamers
on the bright side, he did let me out of the house for once. i got a new purple titanium bar for my industrial. it's pretty! i also got some 14g 5/8 CBRs to put inside my tunnels, for some reason i really like the way it looks with my smaller CBRs right next to them in the second hole. i also bought a new red bra from hot topic. it has little black and skull bows on the straps. so cute. i ALSO made the mistake of going to old navy, such a dangerous place. i got my son some cute trunks and a swim shirt for this summer. he likes "swimming" in the tub so we'll see how he reacts to floating in real waters. blew $85, but i don't get out more than about once a month or every other month
