Well vacation is over. I used up all I had and the company is going under. I drove up to Knoxville, Tn and retriverd my personal stuff out of the truck. It was repoed so the company had to be in bad shape for a long time. I think I will drive local for awhile and be home every night for a change.

Vegas PD sent another letter asking me to apply. Also LA and Minn State Police made first offers. Thats seven offers in as many months. They must need pilots real bad. I am happy driving a truck.

Slow very slow at work so I am on a months long vacation. I will need another vacation after I finish all my home projjects. The tile I put down looks great.

Went to see The Mist with the kids. I liked it bu they have read every Steven King book and did not likrewhat Hollywood did to it.

Got a third unsolicited offer to go to work as a pilot again. This one was for a comuter airline and they must be hard up as they will credit all my rotary wing time as turboprop time. Having an ATP helps too.

My daughter will be 18 Dec first. Wow I dont rember getting older when did she.

Sitting here at the truck stop in Binghamton, Ny waiting to get a collant leak fixed. Going to speend the weekend at Mikes in Verona, NY. Hope to go home early next friday. I will take a week off in Oct. Great weather that time of year and looking foward to attending a few fly-ins.
