I feel like a failure. (allow me to wallow in self-pity)(I'm not sure anyone reads this anyway.)
I had been planning a big art, fashion, rock show for the fall. The centerpiece of which was going to be my friend's fashion show. However, she cancelled on me today. She was overwhelmed by he business/life etc. and is going to Ireland with her boyfriend instead of getting the show ready. The good thing is she told me now. The bad thing is - that was the keystone for the whole show. Who's going to go to a rock art show?
(if you build it, will they come?)
This comes hard upon my realization that after two months of having no day job and "concentrating on my Art Star career" I have to start looking for work again unless I sell a buttload of art FAST. I'm trying, really I am. It's not supposed to be easy. But I'm supposed to be awesome!
Don't worry though dear fans...day job or no...I will remain the Art Star I always have been.

That really sucks but you still have time...a "rock art" show sounds pretty cool to me. Your friend dumped the project, that doesn't make you a failure. I hope it works out.

Those are fabulous! Thank you for sharing I am guessing you are the first artist right? Since there are two T.D. and the art is completely different...But if you are both T.D. than that is even better showing such diversity..
