i'm fucking freezing. and i shall continue to freeze until i move my ass to san diego at the end of the month. i remain in philadelphia for two reasons. first, my roommate to be in sd isn't quite ready yet. and second, i wanna play some shows here while i can.
when i decided to move away from this fine city after 22 mostly rockin' years, i had but a handful of truly miss-able friends. then i wound up hanging out with an old friend who i'd lost touch with somehow after years of bullet proof friendship. i started playing in his band with his woman and her brother. i know, cute, right? kinda like the partidge family, only it's hardcore punk music and way cooler. anyway, i joined the band for a month or so to have some fun and pass the time before the big move and well, as they say, you should be careful what you wish for. i've been having a hell of a lot of fun, and time is flying way faster than i wanted it to. so now i got another thing to miss, along with 3 more people, and one dog.
so i'm suffering from a rare case of sentimentalism.
