Been wanting to do this for a while! here we go!
most of my young life i had short brown hair. then it all started with my first highlights in 8th grade and then dying my hair in 10th grade when my mom was away. ever since then, I have loved changing my hair.
this was me in high school! chubby cheeks omg! I dyed my hair black cuz i was totally punk rock.
then I went to college and put purple streaks in it, which really started it all for me.
then my second year in college I got these really cute chunky highlights, they were the best highlights i ever had done. I might get them again someday.
then I came home, dyed it all brown again. and then I got bored and shaved the sides of my head. It was the beginning of the end. and for my next move, believe it or not this was purple hair dye (manic panic) that came out dark blue and then teal. still pretty cool if i do say so. this was before the ombre craze, about 5 years ago.
It was a pain in the ass dying over the blue. we dyed my hair twice and it still shoed thru. so i had to grow it out and then chop it off and dyed my hair jet black... not a look i was to proud of.
bangs were way to short. ugh. and then i had blonde streaks and a couple dreads for a month before i brushed them out.
then I dyed brown again, got bored pretty quick and thats when things got crazy.
and then the bleach crazies begain
and then I just globbed in blue, gray and purple and it looked like a big murky mess.
yuck. And THEN this magical thing happened when i used a boxed bleach, it turned my hair platinum except for 2 or three blue pieces which was just so cool.
and after a summer of bleaching and coloring, my hair took a real bad toll. the pictures in my set mark the end of my experiments and i sought professional help and she did a really cool dark purple ombre.
I managed to grow it out and color it back to black.
then my sister started working at a salon so we chopped it all off and dyed it red!
then i wanted to be Rogue(from X-Men) so i put some blonde streaks in there
and these next pics are from the past couple of months after i got bored.
leading up to now, blue and teal ombre! whats next? I have a couple ideas ;)
