A very lovely end to a very hectic week! i worked monday tues thurs and I picked up a shift today and worked a hectic 6hrs. I know that doesnt sound like a lot but working at an animal hospital its 6 hours of non stop running around, answering phones, lifting heavy doggies, holding squirmies (animals that dont like to be handled, cute lil word i say at work) down, taking out cathaders, waking sleepies up from anesthesia, giving oxygen, running fecals (EWWW!!), helping the doctors, filing, dealing with assholes on the phone who dont understand we're booked i dont give a fuck who you are but im quite polite and WILL give you numbers to other hospitals. etc etc etc.
i DO understand we were voted #4 on the top 23 vets in chicago in the Chicago Magazine, like months ago. We have good reviews online and therefore our phones are always ringing off the hook. We can only see so many new clients so our schedules get booked FAST and people get pissed off and act like its MY problem that their little pookie pie cant get his damn distemper shot till next week, chillax bitch this isnt a critical prob. now a dog that came in tues and supposedly swallowed a battery and needed x-rays now THATS a critical prob.
but aahhhh i digress. i heart my job! i really do! but knowing i have the weekend off is a sigh and a half! but i have no plans D: hit me up lovers lets chilllllllllllllll. fer reals!

oh ps. that dog didnt have a battery in his tummy after all. YAY! cause that would have been a hardcore surgery!!
