if there was any doubt as to my level of geekiness, how about the fact that i spent about two hours on christmas morning making these, which were actually a gift for my 6 year old:
(just to clarify: i didn't make these from scratch. they come as pre-assembled aliens that come apart, and you can re-build them mix-and-match style... THAT'S what i spent two hours doing)
