tattoo #37 (as good a picture as i can take of this part of my arm by myself, at any rate):



based on a hubble image i found of a star/sun that either was or had somehow been rendered in green... i originally wanted to do a green planet in that spot, but liked the "swirly" nature of this better than any planet photos i found, so here we are... planning an outer-space/universe type background for the sleeve on that arm, so this will fit in nicely with that.

speaking of sleeves, next appointment is June 25 to fill in the background on the right arm... grey smoke/clouds/shading etc to basically fill the empty parts of it (except for a few choice spots that are staying empty for effect).

and um, we ended up with a new kitten today. unknown to me, the babysitter had promised one of her recent litter to the kids and their mom. thanks for the warning ladies! oh well, i don't really care as long as i don't have to clean any litter boxes.

apparently the sitter's kid had named her "Garfield"... pics when she's finished exploring and is a little more settled.
