aaaaahhhh, silence.
well, not complete silence - I'm filling the air with the soundwaves of some of my favorite and/or under-listened pieces of my music collection. the nice part is that, for once, the music isn't competing with the noise of CHILDREN.
my parents took them away for the weekend.
we got shitfaced last night, and didn't have to worry about waking up with two kids and a hangover this morning. we fucked all over the house, and didn't have to worry about waking them up while we did so.
this is a rare occurence since we have no family living nearby who can take them off our hands once in a while. and even though my FIL lives with us in the winter and helps with the kids, he's still HERE, so it's not like we get the house to ourselves then either.
therefore, as much as I find myself missing the girls after a day and a half of their absence, this is a rare treat that I intend to enjoy to it's fullest.
