the home office is installed. work from home starts Monday. yay! no more bullshit office politics! (or at least they'll be kept to a minimum this way).
it has been too damn hot to go anywhere with the kids this week - even walking over to a nearby park with them is exasperating for all of us b/c of the heat + humidity. the good side of that is, all they want to do anyway is go in the pool - which is really what I'd rather be doing as well - so it works out quite well in the end! the week it took to clear up the water might actually prove to be worth it this summer...
ps - my 2 year old has been requesting "TV Party" (yes the Black Flag tune) non-stop... if this keeps up, I might just have to YouTube a vid of her singin' it...

I think society is BETTER when people stay out of each others' faces and mind their own business.
Again, I am talking about the general population.. not you. I think you would find that a lot of people would disagree with that statement. I will make sure not to butt into your business by talking to you out of kindness and offer up a striking conversation.
