what is with the fucked up site layout lately?

anyway, update time:

hospital has my wife relatively stabilized... still figuring out the med dosage, but she was stable enough that they felt comfortable giving her a weekend pass (since the shrink's not at the hospital on weekends anyway)... she has to go back tomorrow (Sunday) night...

you could tell the girls had missed her, b/c they kept getting back up after they'd gone to bed last night to see her more. whereas tonight, after she'd spent most of the day with them, they went down without a problem...

anyway, we're both taking some quiet time tonight, taking the girls to an airshow tomorrow and then... back to where we were, I guess. not sure for how long.

in a way, I could complain that this sort of ruined my vacation from work. but in reality, it's probably a blessing in disguise - not only will she be fast-tracked with a new med and hopefully in better shape than before, but her not being here will prevent us from going out and doing things that would cause us to spend money that we really shouldn't spend...

ok, I'm all over the place here.

bottom line: we aren't out of the woods yet, but we're getting there
