turns out e-mail only lasted one day 
on the brightside I get a paid day off monday b/c I have to wait around all day for whenever they decide to show up and install the lines that will let me work from home. could be worse.
we're gonna FINALLY get the fucking pool opened next weekend. up til now the weather here has been so shitty (or "sporadically nice" if you're a glass-half-full person) that it hasn't been worth bothering with.
random funny for the week: a raccoon tried to steal my kids' Elmo sprinkler the other night. caught the bastard RED handed... haha... ha ha... ha... ok bad joke but the raccoon/sprinkler part is true.
