I just got back from OleDirtySketchyB's Lounge Arcade party. Good stuff. Ran into Neon and her friend. Played some Tetris. I don't know about you, but Tetris puts my mind in a calmer state than any attempts at meditation ever have. Studies must be performed!

Once back home, I poured myself a nice big drinky and connected to our shiny new SGCHAT in the hopes of wasting a few presomatic minutes. Alas! I cannot connect! Curses! Drat! I'm sure the geniuses of SGSF will sort it out. And forthwith, for I anticipate spending much time there.

I am coming to love Kazaa (Lite, of course) more and more. We consistently missed Six Feet Under last week (and our piece-of-shit VCR's broken) but it turned up in a search! Plus, I've been watching lots of Sealab 2021. Speaking of which, I hope you have all heard MC Chris' (aka "Hesh") song Fett's Vette. It is truly a delight.

I'm expecting a call from the MacArthur Grant people any day now. You know, for coming up with "Hitting the 57". It is currently my mission to insert it into popular parlance. Please help.

I'm so glad you asked, DebraJean. "Hitting the 57" is a slang term for menstruation. Derivation: One hits the tiny "57" on the side of a stubborn bottle of Heinz ketchup to encourage it to pour. Just use it whenever discussing periods.
