When somebody says something that either

A. you know they aren't completely comfortable with saying
or
B. you aren't entirely comfortable with hearing

you can say one of the above handy phrases (completely in jest, of course) to shut them up (and it will) and restore equilibrium.

On the downside, this means that people will be more likely to watch what they share with the rest of the class.

My VSLF's two weeks of working evenings will soon be over. This means much less late-nite beer-swilling sgchat. 'cause you know how significant others are. They always want to "spend the evening" with you, and have "dinner" and "talk" and have "sex". God. I'm going to miss those profound conversations about alarm cock radios and nicole's hair color and what Neil and hallux are streaming (apparently, a lot of typing and giggling).

I had a ghost dream last night. I was at my parents house and the glass of wine I was carrying suddenly broke as I was carrying it. And it kept getting pulled out of my hands by a mysterious force. Then a (very vague) group of my friends showed up and we tried to solve the mystery. I think this conclusively proves that the dream was a result of watching Scooby Doo yesterday.
