I got my offer letter yesterday. Tragically, it spelled out MP&A so I can't claim ignorance anymore. It didn't stand for "Mega Popular and Awesome", but at least my previous guess ("Media Planning and Analysis") as to what it stood for was incorrect. A coworker joked that it stood for "My Penis is Awesome". I explained to her that (though my penis is awesome) that doesn't really work, because "is" ≠ "and". Then I threatened her with a sexual harassment lawsuit.
My boss got Mildly Peeved and Annoyed later in the day:
"You dope*! You never told me you were married!"
(You never asked.)
"When I asked you if that was a picture of your girlfriend (points to picture of VSLF), you said yes!"
(I think "wife" ⊂ "girlfriend"**.)
Then last night, I hosted a small party of acting students, and The Boss called. That's another thing about being permanent his inhibitions about calling me at home seem to have greatly lessened.

** - You might ask why I don't usually call VSLF my wife. It's because I don't care.
