I'm about 1/3 of the way through Quicksilver. Man, that's some hard going. I find myself losing concentration while reading and remembering how engrossing Cryptonomicon was. I still want to believe that by the time I get to the end it will be my favorite book ever.

Leah's at another drug dinner; that's, like, three posh meals in three weeks! Maybe she'll bring me back a pen with a drug name on it.
