Bad Party
So we cabbed up to the north Bronx for VSLF's work party. I don't think I've been so far north while still in NYC before. There were rumors that there wouldn't be enough tables at the soiree, so we got there fairly early. Which turned out to be before anybody else. But that just meant we got a drop on our drinking, right? Well, the food was cheap starch, the music was uninteresting, there was a raffle that (for some reason) we were all disqualified from, and many of the people I had hoped would come didn't. Around ten, straw hats, glow sticks, plastic maracas, and inflatable guitars got passed around. And the drinks! The drinks were weak and made with the cheapest liquor I ever tasted! I think I drank, like, twelve of them and developed only the slightest buzz. Though I have a lingering nausea today.

That's not to say I didn't have a good time.

This morning we lounged on the couch and watched The Shape of Things. I don't recommend. I wasn't surprised to find that it was originally a play, because the acting felt that way, and not in a good way. Ha! I just realized that the IMdb page on it reveals the twist in the Plot Outline, so don't click above if think you might watch the film.

It's snowy out.

tell me bout it! to be honest, the girl that interviewed us was very sweet, she hardly asked us any questions, she just looked at our wedding album, asked us some simple questions and that was it. I have my passport stamped for 10 years BUT i should get citizenship within the next three to four years ? i couldnt believe how easy it seemed, i was scared coz i thought it seemed a little to easy. but, i have it now and im not giving back, hehehe.
