I am a little depressed today due to a (fairly minor) medical condition that had slumbered for nigh-on two years rearing its ugly head. Dang.

I met the friend of a friend yesterday. Two things set alarm bells ringing: first, the I-shall-crush-your-hand handshake. Why do so many guys do that? Second was the polo shirt. Solid color. With a logo. At the restaurant we went to, two girls mistook him for a waiter. Ha! I dunno, I don't usually judge people for what they wear I mean, I wear stupid shit all the time but I am hugely prejudiced against this variant of shirt.

"So, you guys up for some reg-gae?" Complete with silly dance motions on "reg" and "gae". I was delighted when he said that, being as it was an ironic reference to Ghost World. But: no. He hadn't seen the film and was just mugging re: the bar we were next going to (known for its reggae night). As a matter of fact, the man has no sense of irony.

Movie being filmed outside the office I was working yesterday. That's one of the things I like about New York: you turn the corner, they're filming a movie. And you know the trick of finding out what exactly they're filming? Look on the dashboards of one of the vehicles. (I bet everyone in NYC knows this) The parking permit always has the name of the movie, as well as the director and sometimes the stars. This was for 2b Perfectly Honest. Hopefully it's a working title, because jesus christ. Didn't see Turturros John nor Aida, sadly.

I am partial to a fine Fred Perry myself...but yeah....for the most, "Danger" does flash in the air.

Hope you're back on a groove and trending up.
