It's been over a year since my dad died, and since he passed away I've wanted to get a tattoo in his honor. I don't know anything about tattoo art or tattooing so I'm going to need some help figuring out what to get done and where to get it done and what artist tho get to do it. I was hoping you guys could maybe help me out with that. First I need to decide what to get done and I've got it narrowed down to two ideas. Because I'm something of a geek for video games that's where my inspiration comes from.
Option 1: I was thinking I'd get the name on the tombstone changed to my dad's. Also it's from Borderlands 2 which is one of my favorite games.
Option 2: I'm not sure how this image would work as a tattoo. It is from the first game I played after dad died so that's why I was thinking of using it somehow.
So which one do you think is better, cooler, whatever?
P.S. You guys are not the only the only people I'm asking for help with this so there's not too much pressure, and I need to save up a bit before I can get this done so there's no rush.

I'm actually kind of happy I was too broke to get this done, in retrospect. I've had a better idea for a tattoo to honor my dad that is more in keeping with who he was and a little less about me...Â
