Today was an interesting day. It took two hours to unload a truck that should've only taken half an hour to do. We have an unloading dock, but they send us a truck with a lift gate that gets in the way. We had to steal some old boards from the department store next door to use as shims. When I came home for lunch, my girlfriend's mom came home from work early. She basically told me that her day played out like a mafia movie at work. When I got back to work, I inadvertantly got my boss in trouble because I thought she left. My district manager called actually needing me, but also asked for my boss. I told him she left, but it turns out she was working in the back and drove her husband's car to work, so I thought she left. Well after the mess up I found I have to go work in a store in a ghetto, because they're firing a supervisor that's been caught stealing. It doesn't end there either, oh no! It was me and one cashier from 5 o'clock till 9 on the busiest day of the week, with our regional manager finally making his 4 month late visit, so who got to stay an hour late to clean up after the moron tourist masses... Shit I need an office job.
