Today I start the voyage home. My plan is to make it to at least Salt Lake City today. That's just over the half way point back home (700+ miles out of the 1250). This time however, I'll be able to stop along the way and take pictures. I just didn't want to do that on the way out here while I was under a time crunch. That was the only bad thing about the whole 'Iron Butt' thing.
Anyhow, it's been a fantastic vacation out here. I want to thank each and every one of the SGSF people for making my trip as awesome as it was. You guys ROCK!
The only thing I didn't do on this trip that I had planned on (tentatively) was going to the World Superbike races in Monterey. World class motorcycle races on amazingly tuned pieces of machinery all on the world famous Laguna Seca raceway. I guess that means I'll just have to come out for that again next year
