Why must the birds play those silly games? Just what is it that they're trying to accomplish? At least it seems like some sort of game. They could EASILY fly a few feet higher and be perfectly safe. What is it that makes them want to fly just a couple of feet off the ground, and RIGHT in front of your moving vehicle. What's their motivation? Are there a group of birds sitting on the side of the road 'double dog daring them'? Betting a worm? Sure, they almost always do make it across the street. Today was an exception. Riding my motorcycle home during lunch, I didn't see it til it was too late. THUD against my shin...
