I don't think I'm going to do the weekly this week, I'm really not in the mood. Actually, playing hard techno between 9pm-10pm just doesn't do it for most people, and that's part of it. My originals rocked it last week, but I don't want to play the same thing again, and writing an hour's worth of material just isn't going to happen. I'm totally playing to the wrong crowd at this place, last week it was a house dj and a hip hop scratch dj and some MC's that went on afterwards. Time to start expanding my horizons and looking to play elsewhere again. Then again, I just dunno if I have the heart for it anymore. It's so much work with my regular job included. Not to mention the GNP of Peru I blow every month on new records that I could be saving for something like... eating and paying my electric bill. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but it's just the wrong venue. Maybe I just need to promote it, I dunno. I probably just need to move somewhere more urban in town. Then again, I have a mortal fear of campus.
