Well on the arm that you can see it says "God and Soldier we adore in the time of peril, not before the peril ended, all things righted God forgotten and the Soldier slighted."

The other arm has a bit more starting at the shoulder " I was that which others did not want to be. I went where others feared to go and did what others feared to do.
