Alright, here's the scoop. My extended hiatus was primarily motivated by one thing, and that was lack of motivation. Specifically, around the time I stopped posting, the morale here on SG was at an all-time low, myself included.

Between the censorship of some of my favorite sets, the disappearence of several of my favorite girls, and their subsequent migration to new websites, I just haven't really felt up to it.

But now I'm trying to make a comeback, and I thank you all for being patient and keeping me on your friends lists.

Now for a few updates...

1. I finally, FINALLY got that promotion I've been waiting for! Work is harder, but much more rewarding (not lastly due to the pay increase).

2. My fiance and I (now both shown in my profile pic) are trying really hard to get married sometime this year. and about that...

3. I'm trying to become Jewish. An atheist Jew, of course, which, awesomely, is totally acceptable in the doctrine. My reason? There are many. Firstly, my love has decided that she is no longer Christian at all, but is now entirely Jewish, and it would be lovely if we could finally be registered and married as roughly the same thing. Secondly, I like Jews alot. I'm fascinated by the culture and I find the general "underdog" status quite becoming of my nature. And lastly, I want to piss off anti-semites. There you go.

4. My love and I made two new friends by simply talking to a random girl at a crosswalk. We exchanged contact info and now hang out with her and her boyfriend on a weekly basis. Never knew it was that easy.
