First- my buddy's bday, an Edward 40hands/Beercules challenge.
I used 2 1 liters of root beer since I don't drink. I did not win.
Then I kicked that same buddy's ass (storyline only) at a wrestling show
Then we had that buddy's bachelor party pub crawl
Then we had that buddy's wedding where I acted as the officiant
took snap chats with some old friends
and generally partied hard
Then I went to work bouncing at my bar and saw another old friend/long-time crush
and finally ended the string of wild events with an 11 band concert featuring one of my fav independent bands that I was first intro'd to while living in PHX- element a440
I got to sing some of the choruses and they brought me over on camera for their post-show interview which was wicked awesome. Got to talk with them a bit and they were wicked gracious and cool- for me it was nice to be reminded of one of the better parts of my time in PHX, and for them I'm sure it was cool to see a fan elsewhere in the country while they're on a major US tour.
Then today it was back to the grind of classes and such.
This upcoming weekend my wrestling company is running a show in Iowa- so it'll be a fun out of state road trip. I'll be sure to let everyone know how that goes.
