Class has been ridiculously boring this week- death by powerpoint, but the next 2 weekends are 3days long, so I'm wicked excited for that.
Tonight I'm dragging a few of the guys from class out to "Goldfish Racing" at my regular bar (I know, weird to have a regular bar but not drink booze right?) which should be good. It's a big ol' shitshow of comedy, nudity, and... well... goldfish. A couple of the guys have been having real troubles with family and such being in school and a couple going through divorces, so it'll be nice to get them out and enjoying themselves for a night. Also be nice to have some company for myself while I'm out and about in the world.
I got some of my school grant money yesterday, so I finally have the money I need for the tattoo I'm getting at the upcoming convention in phoenix in a couple months. It's a portrait of my grandfather from when he was all young and bad-ass James Dean-esque. I will never be as cool as he looks in this picture. Ever.
Ah well, that said, time to go get myself all pretty to hit the town. Catch y'all later.

Haven't gotten back to you about your other message...but thanks for sharing your experience with me on poetry readings, a lot of them are slam poetry these days from other people i've spoken with too, especially in nyc. hmmmmm ;/. Also that's unfortunate some of your books were published with typos, but I do think it's great that they are out there and people are reading them, you're fourth one once you come up with inspiration will be typo free
