Woke up for nothing.
694 days. That is the number of days that my C&P claim has been in the "development phase" through the VA. They tell me they are waiting for my personnel records from some main hub even though all dates of service and other information is all included in my DD214, which is one of the first pieces of paper that I had to submit as I was filing my claim. I am told that there is nothing I can do but wait. The regional office in Chicago that is handling my claim does not accept incoming phone calls. Every time I have submitted an inquiry asking to get a call from the regional office, I instead get a letter telling me to leave them alone for another 90 days before contacting them again. I have reached a point beyond furious disbelief. I don't even know what to call the way I feel.
I should go back to sleep, I have at least 3 hours I could be sleeping before I need to wake up for class. But I am so furious I'm shaking... perhaps sleep will have to come at a later time.
